ALLOYED26
CISO’s and cybersecurity leaders from across Europe gathered at ALLOYED26. As summit chair and moderator, I facilitated this international conference centered on one of today’s most critical topics: cyber resilience in the AI-era.
International leaders
The core theme revolved around a fundamental question: how do organizations stay resilient? AI accelerates both opportunities and threats—and the only way to tackle the challenges created by AI is to deploy AI smartly and defensively. However, the discussion went far beyond technology alone. Cross-chain collaboration took center stage, requiring openness, trust, and a genuine willingness to share knowledge. That is precisely what CyberAlloy aims to foster.
Impact and interaction
As moderator and facilitator, my responsibility was to keep the energy high, guide the narrative thread, and drive deep insights. Throughout the day, I facilitated sharp debates including defense strategies and digital sovereignty. Ensuring a strong connection between the speakers and the audience, with a strong focus on collaboration.
Chief Data Officier CyberAlloy Lizzy Klijs:
“ALLOYED26 was our very first flagship event in the Evoluon, and it truly mattered to us that the day was guided by someone who could carry the room. We were excited, nervous, proud; everything at once. And then Anic walked in… and suddenly the whole day felt lighter.
Anic didn’t just moderate the day, she lifted it. Opening a room full of IT specialists is no small task, it’s basically like trying to warm up a firewall (being a IT girl myself) but she did it with disarming ease: a spark of humour, a breath of fresh air, and an energy that instantly connected everyone. With her deep understanding of the content, she asked exactly the right questions to open up the room and bring people into the conversation. She brought professionalism, warmth and pure enthusiasm in a way that made ALLOYED26 truly come alive.
She adapted effortlessly to the attendees, to the rhythm of the day, and to what Aernout and I needed as organisers. She held the space, guided the flow, and made us feel supported from the very first minute.
We couldn’t have wished for a better partner on stage. Anic didn’t just help us through our first flagship event, she made it unforgettable.”
