DEN conference
The DEN Conference is the annual online event for professionals working at the intersection of culture, technology, and innovation. In a time when digital transformation is fundamentally reshaping both society and the cultural sector, this event offers insight, inspiration, and a clear view of the future.
What role does digital technology play in art and heritage? How can we broaden our audience reach, create new forms of cultural experience, and build a future-proof sector?
As host, I led the full live presentation across both days—guiding in-depth panel discussions, live interviews, and audience Q&As. The program featured a strong lineup of keynotes, hands-on case studies, and interactive sessions.
Key speakers included:
- Adrian Hon, game designer and author of Zombies, Run! and Marvel Move, who spoke about how immersive experiences can change the way we engage with culture.
- Hilary Knight, with over 20 years of experience at Tate, BBC and Channel 4, shared her expertise on digital audience engagement, creative leadership, and cultural storytelling.
- Koert van Mensvoort, artist and philosopher, explored our co-evolution with technology and how speculative thinking can shape the cultural sector’s future.
The core urgency of the event revolved around one essential question: How can cultural organizations stay relevant in an increasingly digital world?
The DEN Conference offered a roadmap for that future: where technology fuels creativity, inclusion, and transformation.
